Sales of my book, Neighbors At War, continue climbing. And this website is growing by leaps and bounds. But I was somewhat shocked to see the price offered by one Amazon bookseller for a ‘used’ copy of my book. He says it’s in very good shape, but the price? Drum roll, please!

Tada!!!
Folks, I really do think my book is good. But it ain’t THAT good!
Ward, I disagree with you. It is THAT good. Reading your book could save someone (or many) from making the mistake of a lifetime. Had I read it before I made this horrible HOA purchase it would have saved me $200,000.00. For that, I would have gladly paid $789.12 for your book but I probably would have asked for free shipping!
The price tag you are quoting is why I haven’t bought the book, which looks awesome. The few books I’ve seen about HOAs are all costly, Evan McKenzie’s newest is almost $20 used — yours is only a few dollars cheaper. They are not at the library either. It’s a damn shame cause most the the people I have interviewed with HOA horror stories are deeply in debt.
Hi Lisa. Have faith, the eBook version is coming soon and it’ll only be $9.95. The higher prices on the soft bound book are necessary because of huge printing and distribution costs. Believe me, the author makes almost nothing for a $25 book, probably less than fifty cents per book. Still, the wild photo on my front cover makes my book perfect for the coffee table! Ah! And a number of libraries have now agreed to make “Neighbors At War” available. At this point, I don’t know which ones they are. That process happens way over my head! BTW, McKenzie’s book is a must-read. I would have bought it for ten times the asking price.
