Since 2007 newspapers and TV stations around the country have been collapsing. Newspapers like the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the Rocky Mountain News and many others have simply gone out of business. But I’m learning that the Las Vegas Review-Journal is thinking about growing and creating a new investigative team. As far as I’m concerned that’s incredibly good news.
Without the investigative reporting of staff member Jeff German this country would know nothing about the massive Las Vegas HOA scandal that sent more than three dozen people, including lawyers, cops and public officials to prison.
More investigative reporting? Praise the Lord!

This is great news Ward Lucas and I think it is great that you pointed out the skill, expertise and dedication Jeff German has shown in covering the Las Vegas HOA scandal.
Every news outlet in America should be doing the same and organizing a “special projects team” as the Las Vegas Review Journal, and especially to investigate and report the truths involving HOA issues, HOA homeowner abuses, HOA board criminality, HOA legal and judicial injustices and abuses, and the HOA property thefts and other abuses by the courts, some justices and some attorneys that appears to be on going in America.
This type of “special projects” reporting is a necessity, and especially in states like Pennsylvania and more specifically, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
In case you and the readers of your blog do not know, newspaper owner, Lou Jasikoff, Wilkes Barre Scranton Independent Gazette (wilkesbarrescrantonig.com) and Andy Ostrowski (pennsylvaniacivilrightslawnetwork.com), who each also have incredible shows on twigscaferadio.com, Lou Jasikoff has “Jasikoff and Friends” and “Sanity Check” from 4-6pm, est., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and Andy Ostrowski has “Justice Served” from 6-7pm, est., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are also involved in a project for future journalists!
