I know of at least four HOA movies in various stages of production. Movies are extraordinarily expensive to do, and to do right. One of the older ones that appears to have stalled had a wonderfully clever trailer….worth watching.
If anyone has an update on this production, please let me know.
IMBD.org says this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1842494/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
Thanks, Leo. Actually, though, the trailer makes this look like more of a vampire film than an HOA film.
Re: http://www.associationmovie.com. I will as the writer/producer/director and let you know what he tells me. Last I heard they were working out funding issues.
I’m the writer director– thanks for the shout-out! I still hope to make this movie in the future, when the timing is right. Originally my producing partner and I were unable to drum up the funding for it, then our personal lives got quite a bit more complicated. Since then the project has since been dormant as other things take up my time. But the continued interest from the HOA community inspires me to keep at it. All the best, Andrew Wahlquist
Andrew, you’ll probably find a TON of interested people and possible donors on this website. More than a half million people have logged in here (12 month running average) and on any given day we have anywhere from two to four thousand regulars logging in. So PLEASE let us all know what kinds of financial, strategic or informational resources you need. Also, if you check back on previous posts we’ve done you’ll find a massive number of frightening stories that seem like they’re right out of some monstrous horror story but they’re all completely true. Folks on this website have been waiting for someone like you to come along.
Correction to my comment yesterday. I apologize.
