By coincidence the celebration of Hanukkah and Thanksgiving begin in the same few hours this year. And I am thankful for all my friends in many faiths… and even those who are skeptics. But you can all have faith in this: I respect you and am thankful for all of you.

Thank you, Ward for publishing a book this year that exposes the truth about HOAs! The knowledge you shared on those pages educated many people. And they avoided buying into the nightmares so many of us now live.

And we should all give thanks to the H.O.A. board members across the country, who volunteer their time to make their communities a better place. It is often a thankless job.
And on this day, remember to be thankful that there are professional H.O.A. managers and H.O.A. attorneys to guide these volunteer-neighbors.

Dave, We all give thanks for you. There’s nothing more exciting than meeting and talking with another ‘enlightened one’. Truth is the most marvelous weapon we have. And I give thanks for Evan McKenzie, the first man who woke me up, And Jan Bergemann and Beanie Adolph who helped with my continuing education, and of course Gary Solomon and Jonathan Friedrich and Jan Murray. Through the years Shu Bartholomew has kept us all on target. The list of enlightened ones is growing so long that it’s impossible to compile without leaving out some of the most important. Karin, Cynthia, Stan, Harvella, Robert, Jerry, and of course all of those brave folks behind the HOA Hall of Shame. Having spent a career in TV news, I am well acquainted with the risks taken by journalists who try to investigate and expose wrongdoing. The next few months are going to be extremely interesting as the federal trials in Nevada get underway. Look for more surprises, more names, more victims. And take heart, because Truth is a demanding Mistress. She takes no prisoners.
